New Outpatient Physician

Dr. Jason Lepse, Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist will begin seeing patients in January 2023 at Sabetha Community Hospital. He will be replacing Dr. Douglas Barnes, who is retiring. Dr. Barnes has been coming to the hospital since July 26, 1999.

Dr. Lepse earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas and his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. He stayed in Kansas City at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he completed his residency in the department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Lepse provides cutting-edge evidence-based care in all areas of adult and pediatric otolaryngology.

He decided to pursue a career in medicine following in the footsteps of his father, who practiced orthopedics in the Topeka area for 35 years. In his spare time, Dr. Lepse enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their young son.
