Catch Up on Care

Sabetha Community Hospital and Sabetha Family Practice would like to encourage patients to "Catch Up on their care." And as patients "Catch up on Care", one area of concern is "will my health insurance cover this service?" I encourage each patient to know your insurance coverage before seeking services and if your insurance company is in network with Sabetha Family Practice or Sabetha Community Hospital. We do not accept every insurance product available, but we are committed to working with our patients. SFP and SCH does have staff to help provide information, but the best policy is to know and understand what your health insurance does and does not cover. Our staff will help with pre-authorization or pre-certification needed by your insurance company. It is important to educate yourself before signing with an insurance product or purchasing insurance off the health exchange. It is also confusing to patients who sign with a Medicare Advantage plan and then find out they do not have the same coverage as traditional Medicare. We ask you would call the Sabetha Family Practice or Hospital business offices before enrolling in a new health insurance plan, and see if, the physicians and hospital are "in network with the new plan". Sabetha Family Practice and Sabetha Community Hospital are committed to our patients which means from the start of care to the finish to achieve a great outcome for everyone!
