Have a Wound, Heal a Wound

As America rings in the new year, Sabetha Community Hospital Wound Care Center is reminding its patients that if they or a loved one has a non-healing wound, the center can help heal that wound.

Approximately 15% of Medicare patients in the United States have at least one type of wound or infection. Left untreated, foot or leg wounds may result in limited mobility, lower quality of life and possible amputation.

"The new year is a great time to remind patients that if they are suffering from any type of wound, our center can get them on the path to healing," said Susie Lueger, APRN.

The Wound Care Center at Sabetha Community Hospital provides a comprehensive approach to treating patients with non-healing wounds. The team features clinicians with advanced training in wound care.

The Wound Care Center at Sabetha Community Hospital is open for appointments on Mondays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Monday through Friday for phone calls and referrals. For more information about wound care or to schedule an appointment, call (785) 284-1588. No physician referral is required, patients may self-refer.
